Albany Wind Farm
Albany Wind Farm is a coastal wind energy facility located at Sand Patch, about 12 kilometres southwest of Albany in Western Australia's Great Southern region. Commissioned in 2001 and expanded to 18 turbines, it overlooks the Southern Ocean from elevated coastal cliffs. The site is notable for its large turbines, panoramic ocean views, and integration with the Bibbulmun Track, serving as both a renewable energy installation and a popular scenic lookout for visitors.
