About Barrenjoey Lighthouse
Barrenjoey Lighthouse is a heritage-listed 1881 sandstone lighthouse on Barrenjoey Headland at Palm Beach, the northernmost point of Sydney in New South Wales. Located within Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, it stands above Pittwater and Broken Bay. Designed by Colonial Architect James Barnet, it is the third light on the headland and remains an active aid to navigation, known for panoramic coastal views and its historic keeper's cottages.
