Toorale National Park is a large outback conservation area in far north-west New South Wales, about 80 kilometres southwest of Bourke at the junction of the Warrego and Darling Rivers. Formerly the historic Toorale Station, it was acquired for conservation in 2008 and gazetted in 2010. The park protects extensive floodplains, wetlands and river channels, supports diverse wildlife and birdlife, and preserves pastoral heritage buildings within a jointly managed Aboriginal landscape.
Ujung Kulon National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage national park at the southwestern tip of Java in Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province, Indonesia. Encompassing lowland rainforest, mangroves, beaches and offshore islands including Peucang and Panaitan, it is the last natural habitat of the critically endangered Javan rhinoceros. Formed after the 1883 Krakatoa eruption, the park protects diverse wildlife and marine ecosystems and is accessed primarily by boat from the mainland.
Warrandyte State Park is a protected reserve along the Yarra River at Warrandyte, about 24 kilometres north-east of central Melbourne, Victoria. Managed by Parks Victoria, it conserves riverine bushland, steep forested slopes and remnants of Victoria's first goldfield. The park is notable for its walking track network, the historic Pound Bend Tunnel, former gold mining sites, and diverse native flora and fauna, providing nature-based recreation close to Melbourne.
