Arno's Wall
Arno's Wall is a 70-metre-long folk-art wall located on Vindex Street in Winton, central western Queensland. Built over many years from the 1960s by local resident Arno Grotjahn using concrete embedded with discarded objects such as machinery parts, bottles, typewriters and household items, the wall is an example of outsider art. It stands on the edge of town near open Mitchell grass plains and is maintained as a free public attraction by Winton Shire.
