Eddystone Point Lighthouse
Eddystone Point Lighthouse is a historic granite lighthouse at Eddystone Point on Tasmania's far north-east coast within Mount William National Park in the Break O'Day municipality. Completed in 1889 from locally quarried granite, the 35-metre tower is one of Australia's tallest and most distinctive lighthouses. It marks a hazardous coastline and remains an active aid to navigation, surrounded by keeper's cottages, windswept coastal heath and the white sands of the Bay of Fires region.
