About Woomera Aircraft and Missile Park
Woomera Aircraft and Missile Park is an open-air museum in the town of Woomera in South Australia's Far North. Located in the centre of town, it displays a collection of rockets, missiles, aircraft and related hardware tested at the Woomera Range, established in 1947 as a joint Anglo-Australian weapons testing facility. The park preserves and interprets Australia's aerospace and defence testing history.
