About Mugga-Mugga Cottage
Mugga-Mugga Cottage is a heritage-listed stone cottage in Symonston, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, and one of the oldest surviving buildings in the region, built in 1837-1838. Originally built for workers at the Duntroon estate and later home to the Curley family for nearly a century, it illustrates early colonial pastoral life. Managed by ACT Historic Places, the cottage retains its original structure, outbuildings, and rural setting overlooking Canberra.
