Bo Kluea Ancient Salt Wells

Bo Kluea Ancient Salt Wells are historic natural brine wells located in Bo Kluea Tai, Bo Kluea District, Nan Province, northern Thailand. Used for over 800 years, the wells produce salt from underground brine without seawater. Two main wells remain active, where locals boil brine in large pans over wood fires using traditional methods. The site is notable for its mountain setting, preserved wooden well houses, and continuing community-based salt production.

Doi Phu Kha National Park

Doi Phu Kha National Park is a large mountainous national park in Nan Province, northern Thailand, centered in Pua District. Established on 17 June 1999, it covers about 1,704 square kilometers along the Luang Prabang Range near the Laos border. Notable for its 1,980-meter Doi Phu Kha peak, pristine evergreen and pine forests, and the rare pink-flowered Chomphu Phu Kha tree found only here, it offers viewpoints, waterfalls, caves and a cool montane climate.

Khun Nan National Park

Khun Nan National Park is a protected forest park in Chaloem Phra Kiat and Bo Kluea districts of Nan Province, northern Thailand, along the Luang Prabang Range near the Laos border. Nanthaburi National Park

National Museum of Nan

The National Museum of Nan is located in Nai Wiang, Mueang Nan, Nan Province, housed in the former palace (Hor Kham) of the ruler of Nan built in 1903. Operated by the Fine Arts Department, it is the principal museum for Nan Province and the Lanna heritage of northern Thailand. It is notable for its collection of archaeology, ethnology, Lanna art, Buddha images, textiles and the famous black elephant tusk.

Phu Khe
