Ajwa Lake
Ajwa Lake, also known as Sayaji Sarovar, is an artificial reservoir located about 10 km east of Vadodara city in Gujarat. Constructed in 1890 by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III across the Vishwamitri River, it features a 62-gate dam that supplies drinking water to Vadodara. Notable for its scenic expanse, adjoining Vrindavan Garden with illuminated fountains, and boating facilities, it is a popular picnic and recreation spot for visitors.
