Cape Bruny Lighthouse
Cape Bruny Lighthouse is a historic coastal lighthouse at the southern tip of Bruny Island in South Bruny National Park, Tasmania. Built between 1836 and 1838 using convict labour, it is the second-oldest extant lighthouse in Australia and the longest continuously staffed lighthouse in the country until automation in 1996. The white tower, keeper's cottages and surrounding dolerite cliffs overlook the D'Entrecasteaux Channel and Southern Ocean, offering significant maritime heritage and scenic coastal views.
