Frenchman Bay
Frenchman Bay is a sheltered coastal bay on King George Sound, about 20 kilometres south of central Albany in Western Australia. Located within the City of Albany and adjoining Torndirrup National Park, it is known for its calm sandy beach, clear waters and scenic backdrop of Princess Royal Harbour and surrounding hills. The bay is notable for its French exploration history, former whaling operations and proximity to Albany's Historic Whaling Station at Discovery Bay.
