Buddha Smriti Park is a 22-acre urban memorial park in central Patna, Bihar, near Patna Junction. Developed by the Government of Bihar and inaugurated in 2010 to commemorate the 2554th birth anniversary of Gautama Buddha, it is notable for the 200-foot Patliputra Karuna Stupa enshrining sacred relics, a meditation centre, museum, library and landscaped gardens. It serves as a major Buddhist pilgrimage and leisure destination in Patna.
Hussain Sagar Lake is a large artificial lake situated on the border of Hyderabad and Secunderabad in Telangana, built in 1563 during the reign of Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah. Spread over about 5.7 square kilometres, it is known for the 16-metre monolithic Buddha statue on Gibraltar Rock at its centre. Connected by Tank Bund causeway, the lake is a major recreational and sightseeing hub with boating, parks and illuminated promenades.
Lumbini Park is an urban public park located on the banks of Hussain Sagar lake in central Hyderabad, Telangana, opposite the Secretariat. It operates using rainwater harvesting from a two-acre reservoir, making it an environmentally conscious facility.
