Vismaya Water Theme Park

Vismaya is a water theme park and amusement park located in Parassinikadavu, Kannur District, Kerala. Developed and managed by Malabar Tourism Development Co-operative Limited, it opened in August 2008. The park features over 55 rides including water slides, wave pools, dry rides, and entertainment attractions. It operates using rainwater harvesting from a two-acre reservoir, making it an environmentally conscious facility.

Visitors can expect a combination of water-based and dry amusement rides spread across 30 acres. The park offers water slides, wave pools, lazy river, virtual waterfall with musical displays, laser shows, and various dry rides including sky train, giant wheel, and merry-go-round. Facilities include changing rooms, lockers, food stalls, and parking. The park is family-oriented with attractions suitable for children, teenagers, and adults.

Opened in August 2008, Vismaya was one of the first projects initiated by Malabar Tourism Development Co-operative Limited (MTDC), which was registered in February 2000 to promote tourism and create employment opportunities in the Malabar region.
