Mission Beach
Mission Beach is a coastal town and 14-kilometre sandy beach in the Cassowary Coast Region of Queensland, Australia, located between Cairns and Townsville. Fringed by the Coral Sea and rainforest of Clump Mountain National Park, it is known for its long palm-lined shoreline, views to Dunk Island, and as habitat for the endangered southern cassowary. The area serves as a gateway for Great Barrier Reef access and tropical island tours.
