Atkinson Clock Tower
Atkinson Clock Tower is the oldest standing structure in Kota Kinabalu, located on Signal Hill Road in central Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Built in 1905 in memory of Francis George Atkinson, the first District Officer of Jesselton, it was commissioned by his mother Mary Edith Atkinson. The all-wood, no-nails tower survived World War II bombing and remains a prominent heritage landmark and city symbol.
