Coal Loader
The Coal Loader is a heritage-listed former coal loading facility at Waverton on Sydney Harbour, within the North Sydney local government area. Built between 1913 and 1917 by the Sydney Harbour Trust, it transferred coal from bulk carriers to smaller vessels until the 1990s. Now managed by North Sydney Council as the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability, it features restored tunnels, platform and harbour views.
