Big Merino

The Big Merino is a 15.2-metre-tall concrete merino ram located on Hume Street in Goulburn, New South Wales, within the Goulburn Mulwaree local government area. Built in 1985 to celebrate the region's historic wool industry, it is one of Australia's most famous 'Big Things'. The hollow structure houses a gift shop and wool exhibition, with an observation area accessible via internal stairs, and stands as an iconic roadside photo stop on the Hume Highway corridor.
