Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu Geopark

Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu Geopark is a UNESCO Global Geopark in Sukabumi Regency, West Java, centered on Ciemas District. Covering about 128,000 hectares across eight sub-districts, it is notable for its natural amphitheatre-shaped landscape opening to the Indian Ocean, ancient rock formations, waterfalls, beaches and conservation areas. Designated a UNESCO Global Geopark in 2018, it combines geological heritage, biodiversity and Sundanese cultural landscapes.

Kalvarayan Hills

Kalvarayan Hills is a major hill range of the Eastern Ghats spread across Kallakurichi and Salem districts in Tamil Nadu. Divided into Chinna Kalvarayan (Small) and Periya Kalvarayan (Big) sections, the hills rise to about 1,200 metres and are known for dense forests, waterfalls, and Malayali tribal settlements. The area offers viewpoints, trekking routes and biodiversity, and is visited as an offbeat nature and hill destination.

Kemmangundi Hill Station

Kemmangundi is a hill station in the Baba Budan Giri Range of the Western Ghats in Chikkamagaluru district, Karnataka, at about 1,434 metres elevation. Developed as the summer retreat of Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV, it is known for its forested slopes, manicured gardens, and viewpoints. The station serves as a base for visiting Z Point, Hebbe Falls and Kalhatti Falls, offering cool climate, trekking trails and panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys.

Kenyir Lake (Tasik Kenyir)

Kenyir Lake (Tasik Kenyir) is Southeast Asia's largest man-made lake, located in Hulu Terengganu District, Terengganu, Malaysia. Created by the Kenyir Dam on the Kenyir River and completed in 1985, it covers about 260 square kilometres and contains 340 islands. Surrounded by tropical rainforest, it serves as a hydroelectric reservoir and ecotourism destination known for houseboat cruises, fishing, waterfalls and rainforest activities.

Khao Luang National Park

Khao Luang National Park is a protected mountainous area in Lan Saka District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, southern Thailand. Established in 1974, it covers about 570 square kilometres around Khao Luang, the highest peak in southern Thailand at 1,835 metres. The park is notable for dense evergreen forest, numerous waterfalls including Karom and Krung Ching, diverse wildlife, and hiking trails offering viewpoints and nature study opportunities.

Ko Kut

Ko Kut is a large island in Ko Kut District, Trat Province, in eastern Thailand near the Cambodian border. Known for its undeveloped coastline, clear waters, white-sand beaches and interior forest with waterfalls such as Khlong Chao. The island hosts small fishing villages, coconut plantations and low-density resorts. It is noted for tranquil beaches, snorkeling and kayaking opportunities and remains less developed than nearby Ko Chang.

Kolli Hills is a hill station in the Eastern Ghats in Namakkal District, Tamil Nadu, rising to about 1,300 metres. Little Andaman Island

Little Andaman Island is the fourth largest island in the Andaman archipelago, located about 120 km south of Port Blair with Hut Bay as its administrative headquarters and main entry point. Mawsynram Village is a small settlement in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya, about 60 km southwest of Shillong. Mount Damas

Mount Damas is a forested mountain in Barangay Maasin, San Clemente, Tarlac, on the eastern edge of the Zambales mountain range. Standing at approximately 685 meters above sea level, it is a popular day-hike destination in Central Luzon. The mountain is known for its gradual to steep trails, secondary forest, grassland ridges, and views over Tarlac and Zambales. The trek typically includes a side trip to Ubod Falls near the jump-off point.

Moyo Island

Moyo Island is a largely undeveloped island off the north coast of Sumbawa in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, located within Labuhan Badas District of Sumbawa Regency. Covering about 349 square kilometres, most of the island is designated as a wildlife and marine conservation area. It is known for pristine beaches, coral reefs, dense forest, waterfalls such as Mata Jitu, diverse wildlife, and the exclusive Amanwana resort famously visited by Princess Diana.

Mu Ko Chang National Park

Mu Ko Chang National Park is a marine national park in Ko Chang District, Trat Province, eastern Thailand, covering 650 square kilometers and 52 islands in the Gulf of Thailand. Established in 1982, it encompasses Ko Chang, Ko Kut, Ko Mak and smaller islands, featuring rainforested mountains, waterfalls, white-sand beaches and coral reefs. It is notable for its island-hopping, snorkeling, diving and hiking opportunities within a protected archipelago near the Cambodian border.

Na Hang Lake

Na Hang Lake is a large reservoir formed by the Na Hang Hydropower Dam on the Gam River in Na Hang District, Tuyen Quang Province, northern Vietnam. Surrounded by limestone karst peaks, forested hills and submerged valleys within Na Hang Nature Reserve, it is often called Ha Long Bay on land. The lake is notable for its emerald water, 99 limestone mountains, waterfalls and Tay and Dao ethnic villages, and is explored mainly by boat tours.

Royal Belum State Park

Royal Belum State Park is a 117,500-hectare protected rainforest in Hulu Perak, Perak, northern Peninsular Malaysia, forming the northern part of the Belum-Temengor Forest Complex. Gazetted in 2007, it preserves one of the world's oldest rainforests, estimated at 130 million years old. Notable for its pristine primary forest, Temengor Lake, diverse wildlife including Malayan tiger and hornbills, Rafflesia blooms, and Jahai Orang Asli settlements, it is accessible only by boat with a permit and guide.

Tawau Hills Park

Tawau Hills Park is a 27,972-hectare protected lowland rainforest park located about 24 km north of Tawau town in Sabah, Malaysia. Established in 1979 to protect the Tawau water catchment and managed by Sabah Parks, it preserves pristine dipterocarp forest. The park is notable for natural hot springs, waterfalls such as Table and Bukit Gelas, and Menara, a Shorea faguetiana recognized as one of the world's tallest tropical trees.

Tioman Island (Pulau Tioman) is a large duty-free island in the South China Sea off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, administratively part of Rompin District, Pahang. Known for its dense tropical rainforest interior, granite peaks, clear waters and fringing coral reefs, it is gazetted as a marine park.
