Galta Ji Temple
Galta Ji Temple is an ancient Hindu pilgrimage site located approximately 10 km east of Jaipur in the Aravalli Hills. The temple complex features natural springs, seven sacred water tanks (kunds), and multiple shrines built from pink sandstone. Named after Saint Galav who meditated here, it serves as an important center for the Vaishnava Ramanandi sect and is colloquially known as the Monkey Temple due to its large macaque population.
