Manikeswari Temple

Manikeswari Temple is a prominent Hindu temple located in Bhawanipatna, the district headquarters of Kalahandi in Odisha. Dedicated to Goddess Manikeswari, the presiding deity of Kalahandi, it is a major religious and cultural centre for the region. The temple is known for its traditional Kalinga-influenced architecture, daily worship rituals, and the annual Chhatar Jatra festival during Dussehra, which draws large numbers of devotees from across western Odisha.
