Mangalnath Temple
Mangalnath Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva as Mangalnath, regarded as the deity of planet Mars (Mangal), located on the banks of the Shipra River about 6 km from central Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Considered the birthplace of Mars according to the Matsya Purana, it is traditionally regarded as the centre of the earth in ancient Indian astronomy and is a prominent centre for Mangal Dosh nivaran puja.
