Zoji La
Zoji La is a high mountain pass at approximately 3,528 metres (11,575 ft) on the NH 1 Srinagar-Leh Highway, forming the gateway between the Kashmir Valley and Ladakh. Located about 9 km from Sonamarg and 15 km from Drass, it is the second-highest pass on the highway after Fotu La. Known for its snow-covered slopes, rugged Himalayan terrain and strategic importance, it remains a key transit point for travellers between Srinagar and Leh.
