Flinders Street Station
Flinders Street Station is Melbourne's principal railway station and an iconic landmark located on the corner of Flinders and Swanston Streets beside the Yarra River. Opened in 1854 as Australia's first city railway station, the present Edwardian Baroque building was completed in 1910. Known for its distinctive dome, arched entrance, and row of clocks, it is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register and remains the busiest station on Melbourne's metropolitan network.
