York Winery & Tasting Room

York Winery & Tasting Room is a boutique winery located in Gangavarhe near Gangapur Dam, approximately 20 minutes from Nashik city center in Maharashtra. Established in 2006 and producing wine since 2008, it spans 9 acres of vineyards at an elevation of 550-600 meters. The facility features a multi-level production area, barrel cellar, tasting room, and restaurant with panoramic views of the dam backwaters and surrounding hills.

Visitors can explore a state-of-the-art winery with production areas for grape receival, crushing, and barrel storage. The top-floor tasting room offers guided wine tastings and scenic views of Gangapur Dam and vineyards. A restaurant named Cellar Door serves food with garden dining options available. The estate includes six acres of vineyards growing varieties like Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sauvignon Blanc on red soil terrain.

Founded in 2006 as a family-owned boutique winery, York began wine production in 2008 and has established itself as a notable producer in the Nashik Valley Wine Region with a one million liter production capacity.

The winery contributes to Nashik's identity as the Wine Capital of India, promoting viticulture and wine tourism in the region through its estate vineyards and visitor experiences.
