About Tumalog Falls
Tumalog Falls is a wide, curtain-like waterfall located in Barangay Luka, Oslob, in southern Cebu, Philippines. Fed by springs above the coastal hills, it drops as a fine misty cascade over moss-covered cliffs into a shallow turquoise basin. Known for its delicate, rain-like flow and forested setting, it is a popular side trip for visitors to Oslob's whale shark watching area, accessible via a steep road requiring a motorcycle ride.
Visitors guide
Visitors reach the falls after a steep downhill ride on a habal-habal motorcycle from the main road, followed by a short walk down steps to the basin. The falls appear as a broad, wispy curtain of water spreading over layered rock, often light and misty in dry months and fuller after rain. The shallow pool at the base allows wading and swimming, surrounded by lush vegetation, rock formations and designated viewing and photography areas.
