About Singapore Art Museum (SAM at Tanjong Pagar Distripark)
Singapore Art Museum (SAM) at Tanjong Pagar Distripark is the museum's temporary venue in Bukit Merah's Tanjong Pagar sub-zone at 39 Keppel Road. Originally opened in 1996 in the former Saint Joseph's Institution building at Bras Basah, SAM is Singapore's first art museum dedicated to contemporary art with a focus on Singapore and Southeast Asia. The Distripark space opened in January 2022 during redevelopment of its heritage buildings and presents rotating exhibitions in converted warehouse galleries.
