About SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium
SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium is a large public aquarium located on the eastern side of Darling Harbour in Sydney, New South Wales. Opened in 1988 and rebranded as SEA LIFE in 2012, it houses thousands of aquatic animals across themed zones including Shark Valley, Dugong Island and Penguin Expedition. Notable for its ocean tunnels, extensive Australian marine life collection and conservation programs, it is one of Sydney's major family attractions.
