About Pinnacles Desert
The Pinnacles Desert is a vast field of thousands of limestone pillars rising from yellow sand within Nambung National Park, about 200 km north of Perth near Cervantes in the Shire of Dandaragan, Western Australia. The otherworldly landscape, with pillars up to 3.5 metres tall, was formed from ancient seashells and exposed by shifting dunes. It is renowned for its stark natural beauty, geological interest, and accessibility via a scenic drive and walking trails.
