Nursery Dive Site

Nursery Dive Site is a shallow-water scuba diving site located offshore from Shaheed Dweep (formerly Neil Island) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Known for its calm waters, coral gardens and diverse marine life, it is widely used as a beginner-friendly training and discovery dive location. The site typically offers good visibility and depths around 10-12 metres, making it suitable for first-time divers and snorkelers visiting Shaheed Dweep.

Visitors can expect a shallow reef dive accessed by boat from Shaheed Dweep jetty with a certified dive operator. The site features sandy bottom with coral patches, sea fans and tropical reef fish in clear, calm water. The experience is guided, with briefing, equipment and instructor support, suitable for beginners and non-swimmers under supervision. No permanent structures are at the site; all facilities and equipment are provided by operators on the boat and at their dive centres on the island.
