About Kranji Marshes
Kranji Marshes is a 56.8-hectare freshwater marshland nature park in northwestern Singapore within the Lim Chu Kang planning area, adjoining Kranji Reservoir. Managed by the National Parks Board, it is one of Singapore's largest freshwater marshes and an important habitat for resident and migratory birds, butterflies and dragonflies. Notable for its Raptor Tower, Marsh Station and boardwalks, it complements the nearby Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve for conservation and nature recreation.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a tranquil freshwater wetland landscape of marshes, woodland and grassland accessed via gravel trails, boardwalks and hides. The public area includes Marsh Station with interpretive displays and the multi-storey Raptor Tower offering panoramic views over the marshes. The core marsh is restricted and viewable only on guided tours. Birdwatching, photography and nature walks are the main experiences in a quiet, natural setting with limited shade.
