Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a traditional South Indian Shiva temple set against the Tirumala Hills with a gopuram, mandapas and a cave shrine housing the Shiva lingam. In front of the temple, the Kapila Theertham waterfall flows from a height of about 100 feet into a large temple tank (pushkarini) where devotees bathe. The complex includes Nandi, Vinayaka and other sub-shrines, stone steps leading to the falls, and forested hill backdrop. The atmosphere is devotional and scenic, especially when the waterfall is active during monsoon and winter.
