About Fort Siloso Skywalk
Fort Siloso Skywalk is an 11-storey, 181-metre elevated walkway on Sentosa Island, Singapore, connecting Siloso Point to Fort Siloso, the island's preserved coastal fort. Opened in 2015, it rises above the forest canopy and heritage trees, offering panoramic views of the Singapore Strait, Keppel Harbour and Sentosa's western coastline. The skywalk provides step-free access to the fort and serves as a scenic heritage trail linking natural and military history attractions.

History of Fort Siloso Skywalk
The Skywalk opened in July 2015 to provide accessible entry to Fort Siloso, Singapore's only preserved coastal fort originally constructed in the 1870s-1880s to defend Keppel Harbour as part of British coastal defences. Fort Siloso was manned during World War II and later preserved as a heritage site. The Skywalk was built to improve visitor access while conserving the surrounding secondary forest and heritage trees.
Culture & Context
Part of Sentosa's heritage trail network that connects natural landscape with military heritage, helping visitors understand Singapore's coastal defence history through preserved fort structures and interpretive displays.
