About Forest Museum
The Forest Museum is a small departmental museum located inside the Chatham Saw Mill complex on Chatham Island, Sri Vijaya Puram in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Operated by the Department of Environment and Forests, it showcases the forest wealth of the islands through timber samples, wood artefacts and scale models. It is notable for its association with Chatham Saw Mill, one of Asia's oldest saw mills established in 1883.
