About Dominican Monastery Ruins
The Dominican Monastery Ruins are the remains of a 16th-century Dominican monastery located inside Moti Daman Fort in Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Built during Portuguese rule, the structure once served as a prominent seminary and place of worship. Today only its stone walls, arches and remnants remain, offering visitors a glimpse of Portuguese colonial architecture and the region's layered history within the fort complex.
