History of Jampore Beach
Jampore Beach lies in the coastal area of Daman, which was under Portuguese administration from 1559 until 1961. The nearby Moti Daman Fort and Nani Daman Fort reflect this Portuguese colonial period, though the beach itself is primarily a natural recreational site.
