About Carnival Magic
Carnival Magic is a large nighttime Thai carnival theme park located in Kamala, Kathu District, Phuket, Thailand. Opened in September 2022 adjacent to Phuket FantaSea, it spans over 40 acres and is billed as the Kingdom of Lights with more than 40 million lights. The park combines illuminated installations, parade performances, carnival rides, shopping and dining, presenting Thai cultural festivals and carnival traditions in a family-oriented entertainment format.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect an evening-only illuminated theme park with extensive light installations, colorful carnival architecture, and landscaped grounds. The experience centers on the River Palace parade with large floats and performers, a Carnival Fun Fair with rides and games, street performances, shopping streets and themed dining venues including the River Palace restaurant. Areas are outdoors and walkable, with photo opportunities throughout the light displays and scheduled parade shows.

History of Carnival Magic
Opened on 20 September 2022 by Phuket FantaSea Public Company Limited after more than six years of development with an investment of approximately 6.6 billion THB. Developed as a sister project to Phuket FantaSea to expand Thai carnival-themed entertainment on a larger illuminated scale.
Culture & Context
Showcases Thai carnival and festival culture through architecture, costumes, parades and performances inspired by traditional Thai fairs, temple festivals and folk celebrations, presented as cultural entertainment for domestic and international visitors.
