About Caloundra Lighthouses
The Caloundra Lighthouses at Kings Beach, Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, comprise two lighthouses standing side by side. The heritage-listed 1896 lighthouse and the 1968 lighthouse guided vessels through the North West Channel into Moreton Bay. Located on Canberra Terrace, the site is managed by volunteers and preserves maritime signalling equipment, offering insight into Queensland's coastal navigation history.
