About Bulabog Beach
Bulabog Beach is a beach on the eastern side of Boracay Island in Barangay Balabag, Malay, Aklan, Philippines, opposite the island's White Beach. It faces the Sibuyan Sea and is sheltered by a reef creating a shallow lagoon. Widely recognized as the Philippines' premier kitesurfing and windsurfing destination due to strong seasonal winds, it hosts numerous kite schools, resorts and eateries along its sandy shoreline and offers sunrise views.
Visitors guide
Visitors can expect a long sandy beach on Boracay's east coast with a shallow, reef-protected lagoon and steady winds. The shoreline is lined with kitesurfing and windsurfing schools, equipment rental shops, resorts, restaurants and bars. Unlike the calm White Beach on the west, Bulabog is active with colorful kites and sails during wind season, with open views of the sea and sunrise. The area is walkable and less crowded for swimming outside peak wind hours.
