History of Bird in Hand
Established in 1997 by Andrew and Susie Nugent on a former dairy farm at Woodside. The name references the historic Bird in Hand gold mine that operated in the Woodside area in the late 19th century. The winery contributed to the development of the modern Adelaide Hills cool-climate wine region.
