About Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum
The Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum is a Peranakan heritage museum housed in a restored 1896 townhouse at 48-50 Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock in historic Melaka City, Melaka Tengah District. Built by Chan Cheng Siew and later home to statesman Tun Tan Cheng Lock, it was converted into a museum in 1985. The museum preserves authentic Baba Nyonya domestic life, displaying antique furniture, porcelain, textiles and family heirlooms within its original architecture.
