Ancient Kiln Sites of Ban Kruat
The Ancient Kiln Sites of Ban Kruat are a group of Khmer-period ceramic kilns located in Ban Kruat District, Buriram Province, northeastern Thailand. Dating from the 10th to 13th centuries during the Angkor period, the sites represent one of Thailand's largest ancient stoneware production centers. Excavated kilns, wasters and ceramic fragments illustrate Khmer glazing techniques. Managed by the Fine Arts Department, the open-air sites offer insight into regional trade and craftsmanship.
