Almatti Dam

Almatti Dam, also known as Lal Bahadur Shastri Dam, is a major hydroelectric and irrigation dam built across the Krishna River at Almatti in Bagalkot district, Karnataka. Completed in July 2005, it forms the Lal Bahadur Shastri Sagar reservoir and houses a 290 MW power station. Notable for its extensive terraced gardens, musical fountain, and reservoir viewpoints, the dam is a prominent visitor attraction in North Karnataka offering landscaped recreational areas and panoramic water views.

Bahu Fort

Bahu Fort is a historic fort located on a rocky plateau on the left bank of the Tawi River in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir. Believed to have been originally built by Raja Bahulochan about 3,000 years ago and later renovated by Dogra rulers, it is the oldest fort in Jammu. The fort encloses the revered Bawe Wali Mata Temple and is surrounded by the terraced Bagh-e-Bahu garden.

Gumbaz

Gumbaz is the 18th-century mausoleum of Tipu Sultan, his father Hyder Ali and mother Fakr-Un-Nisa, located in Srirangapatna, Mandya District, Karnataka. Built in 1784 in Indo-Islamic style, it features a large dome on pillars, ebony doors inlaid with ivory, and interiors with tiger-stripe decoration.
