Jama Masjid
Jama Masjid in Bharuch, Gujarat, is a historic congregational mosque located in the old city area near the Narmada River. Dating to the 14th century, it is among the oldest mosques in Gujarat and noted for its Indo-Islamic architecture that reuses carved pillars and elements from earlier Hindu and Jain temples. The mosque features arched entrances, pillared prayer halls and an open courtyard, reflecting early Sultanate-era craftsmanship and the region's layered architectural heritage.
