Amar Mahal Palace Museum
Amar Mahal Palace Museum is a historic palace-turned-museum located on a hillock overlooking the Tawi River in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir. Built in the 1890s for Raja Amar Singh of the Dogra dynasty in French-chateau style with red sandstone, it was the last official residence of the Dogra rulers. Now a museum, it houses Pahari miniature paintings, a golden throne, library and Dogra art collections, notable for its architecture and river valley views.
