Aguada Lighthouse
Aguada Lighthouse is a historic maritime navigation structure situated on a hill west of Fort Aguada in Sinquerim, Goa. Originally built in 1864 as a 16-meter circular masonry tower with an oil lamp, it was considered the oldest lighthouse of its kind in Asia. The current operational tower was commissioned in 1976 after the original fell into disuse. Visitors can climb the lighthouse steps for panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and surrounding coastline.
