Mata Kaushalya Temple

Mata Kaushalya Temple in Chandkhuri, Raipur District, Chhattisgarh, is believed to be the only temple in the world dedicated to Mata Kaushalya, mother of Lord Rama. Located about 27 km from Raipur on the banks of Chandkhuri Lake, the temple is associated with Kaushalya's birthplace and is a key site on the Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit. Renovated and expanded by the Government of Chhattisgarh, it attracts pilgrims and tourists year-round.
