Gloucester Tree
The Gloucester Tree is a 58-metre karri tree (Eucalyptus diversicolor) in Gloucester National Park, about 3 kilometres from Pemberton in the Shire of Manjimup, Western Australia. Built as a fire-lookout in 1947 and named after the Duke of Gloucester, it is one of three climbable lookout trees in the region. Visitors can climb 153 metal pegs to a cabin platform for forest views, experiencing a historic forestry structure within tall karri forest.
