Wave Rock
Wave Rock is a natural granite rock formation near Hyden in the Shire of Kondinin, Western Australia, about 340 kilometres east of Perth. The 15-metre-high, 110-metre-long wave-shaped cliff is part of the northern face of Hyden Rock, a 2.7-billion-year-old granite inselberg. Renowned for its curved, striped appearance caused by chemical weathering and water erosion, it is a major attraction in Australia's Golden Outback and holds cultural significance for the Ballardong Noongar people.
