Sun Pictures

Sun Pictures is an open-air cinema located on Carnarvon Street in Chinatown, Broome, Western Australia. Opened on 9 December 1916, it is recognised as the world's oldest operating open-air picture garden still in operation. The heritage-listed venue features a corrugated iron facade, canvas deck chairs and an outdoor screen. It continues to show films nightly under the stars and remains a central historic and cultural landmark of Broome's pearling era.
