St Kilda Beach
St Kilda Beach is a sandy urban beach on Port Phillip Bay in the suburb of St Kilda, about 6 km southeast of central Melbourne, Victoria. Within the City of Port Phillip, it is Melbourne's most famous bayside beach, known for its foreshore promenade, St Kilda Pier, views of the Melbourne skyline, and sheltered bay waters. It has served as a popular seaside recreation area since the 19th century.
